The 6th World Media Summit officially commenced today in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China.

Under the theme of “Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation,” the summit has attracted over 500 participants from 106 countries and regions, including representatives from 208 major media organizations, government agencies, and international organizations.
This significant event is co-sponsored by the Xinhua News Agency and the regional government of Xinjiang, highlighting its importance in fostering global dialogue on media and technology
advancements.
